Day 14
Day 14 - Positano
Fantastic day having fun in the Sun!
We took a boat from Sorrento around to the Amalfi Coast side of the peninsula to the popular town, Positano. Arriving by sea was the advised way to travel, since driving the Amalfi Coast highway is strictly reserved for only the craziest of Italians! Although Greg is quickly joining the higher ranks in the driving department (he was only honked at 4 times today.... a new record), he still feels he would need one or two more practice runs before tackling the Big Kahuna of highways. So, boat it is!
On the boat ride into the town, we scored seats on the upper deck (outside) which made the trip even more spectacular. The Amalfi Coast is truly remarkable!
After arriving and exploring the very "posh" shops (Positano actually felt a bit like Rodeo Drive.....seriously high end shopping!) , we then went on a cliff jumping and caving expedition ( I use the word "we" very loosely here, as I actually never left the boat and was in charge of taking pictures.....not a great choice in hindsight since my picture taking ability is somewhat limited :( )
All in all a great day......other than Graeme returning slightly more red than when we left, Matthew returning with a scraped hand from the rock in the cave and Alyssa returning perfect (of course) !
It is our Anniversary today, and Greg and I could not have wished for anything better than to spend a beautiful day in the sun (in Italy!) with our family .... sounds corny, but so very true!
Love to Everyone!

Italian Word of the Day: Amore which means love (can you feel it ?)
